"We found fashion to be a form of expression that can represent and convey the image of the All-New Jazz very aptly. It also relates very well to our target audience both male and female, aged 25 to 39 years old, determined young singles and families who seek to be discerned and unconventional, and yet enjoy a car that is highly practical and reliable," according to Mr. Atsushi Fujimoto, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Honda Malaysia. He also added that it's the first time that Honda Malaysia is launching a car via a fashion show. Following the fashion presentation, Honda Malaysia will be designing 300 unique and different polo t-shirts for the first 300 owners of the all-new Honda Jazz. The all new Honda Jazz like its previous predecessor is a 5 door hatchback has been redesigned with a brand new sporty exterior, spacious inerior, superb drivability and enhanced safety features. According to Mr. Fumihiko Ike, President & Chief Executive Officer of Asian Honda Motor Co. Ltd in Thailand, the All-New Jazz maintained the number one market position in Japan for the ninth consecutive month in July 2008 since its introduction in October last year. The all-new Jazz has also won the prestigious Japan Car Of the Year Award. The all-new Jazz is offered in 2 grades; Grade V and Grade S. Both spec comes with a 1.5L SOHC i-VTEC that churns out 120PS (88kW) @ 6,600rpm and 145Nm (14.8kg-m)@4,800 rpm of tourque The all-new Jazz comes with 5 speed auto transmission with paddle shifters (Grade V only) and Drive-By-Wire acceleration control. The all-new Jazz is designed with enhanced utility in mind. With the new enhanced ULTRA seat that is capable to operate in Utility, Tall and Long mode, owners can load objects of different sizes into the car thus enhancing the practicality of the car. The all-new Jazz safety features consists of the usual Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA). The price of the all-new Honda Jazz is set at RM109,800.00 OTR for Grade V and RM104,800.00 for Grade S. The all-new Jazz is available in 4 colour choices: Cerulean Blue Metallic, Alabaster Silver Metallic, Taffeta White and Crystal Black Pearl (available from November 2008 onwards).
